Indie Agency News members did it up last night at the Ad Age Small Agency Awards, presented on the New Balance campus in Boston. In front of a full house were several first-time winners, including Drake Cooper, Colossus and Deep Focus.
One by one, as the winners took the stage, there was tremendous gratitude for the Ad Age team (especially Judy Pollack, who is largely responsible for Small Agency’s success) and a reminder of the power of independence. Oft cited in acceptance speeches was the community of agencies and talent, plus the fact that indies continue a well-earned streak of business wins.
“To be an Ad Age Small Agency if the year, you have to be doing the best work in the business AND be one of the best places to work with and for,” says Christy Hiler, owner and CEO at Cornett. “It is a coveted title and great honor to stand among the best in this hard but super fun industry.”
With a 32% win rate, Indie Agency News member winners crossed all categories, from agencies to people and campaigns to disciplines. Below, see the member winners (click the links to read the writeups). To learn more about all the winners, visit Ad Age.
Thank you, and congratulations to the entire Ad Age team, including Judy, Brian Bonilla, Jeanine Poggi, Tim Nudd and all of the people on the events teams, for another flawlessly run and excellent conference.
