Hey kids! Thursdays are all about the work, #IndieWork. Sure, we have shows most weeks, but starting today, we’ll spin around to share some of the stuff coming from Indie Agency News members!

Zambezi for Once Upon a Farm
There’s a comforting familiarity with Jennifer Garner. Previous Captial One ads are a staple of good, solid work that gets the job done. One of the more recent ads focused on the brand’s business offering, shot at the Once Upon a Farm business she shares with Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz, the OG founders and John Foraker, the former Annie’s CEO who joined with Garner in 2017.
Whether by design or not, Zambezi‘s newest for Once Upon a Farm has that same familiarity. It’s the first set of spots for the children’s nutrition brand. It’s simple, with no added sugar or artificial flavors—just like the brand’s snacks and pouches.

We look forward to seeing where this goes. We’re just sayin’: Garner has some excellent comedy chops, and we hope to see them show up for this fun brand.

Pereira O’Dell for the Ad Council and Brady: United Against Gun Violence
72% of first-time gun owners in the U.S. cite a need for personal protection as their primary motivation for gun ownership. Yet many don’t know the threat an unsecured gun can pose in the home. This PSA highlights the dangers, and is powerful.
The Many for Panda Express
Beautiful social imagery for Panda Express? Yes, please. Matthew Moraski does lovely work here. We could wax poetic about this work (and we are, sort of), but it’s best to soak it all in—and then order some Panda because we know you’re hungry now.

Curiosity for DUDEWIPES
Eat your heart out, Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.

Odd Notion for BIPOC Adoptees
We’re not going to lie. We always dig it when we can talk about the Portland home team. Odd Notion comes up with another winner: a new identity for BIPOC Adpotees.

Check out the case study and the work here.
Party Land for JanSport
Here’s another installment in Party Land’s excellent work for JanSport. Words can’t describe this fantasticness. Actually, no words were needed. See what we did there, passive tense and all?

Quirk for Hungryroot
A wildly competitive category. Some very simple work to lay out the benefits. No notes. It’s exactly what a brand like this needs.
