Indie Agency News member Serviceplan has made it to the shortlist for the highly coveted Dan Wieden Titanium Award at Cannes Lions, a recognition reserved for the most groundbreaking and innovative campaigns.
No stranger to Cannes success (2022 Independent Agency Network of the Year and 11 wins last year), the two campaigns are presented to the jury during the festival.
First is 855-HOW-TO-QUIT-(OPIOIDS) for Anzen Health. This campaign retains a level of needed simplicity so that those struggling with addiction can understand how to get help.
The remarkable insight is how this helpline focuses, very specifically, on the type of opioid that some take. On each pill is a stamp that identifies the drug. After calling the hotline, callers can then enter the alphanumeric number of the pill’s stamp to get highly specific help and stories about people who overcame their addictions.
Helplines are a proven way to help, but this extra step can help people tackle a particular drug, whether it’s oxycodone, codeine or fentanyl.
The second campaign puts Japanese-German textile startup AIZOME in a remarkable partnership with Wastecare™️, a luxury skincare product.
Textile waste for skincare? In this case, absolutely, because AIZOME only uses plants, water, and ultrasound instead of synthetic chemicals in their dyeing process. This wastewater retains its natural health benefits, which include anti-inflammatory, pain relief, and skin rejuvenation.

Other indies up for this award
- Jung von Matt, Right Against the Right for Laut Gegen Nazis
- Edelman, The Move to -15 for DP World
- Wieden + Kennedy Portland, Doordash All the Ads for Doordash
