Fridays are for fun and games, and this week did not disappoint in our first episode of Random Q. Contestants pick a number between one and ten through three rounds and receive scores on the quality of their answers.
A mystery guest judges the answers and gives contestants bonus point opportunities.
Some questions are about work, others are about life, culture and anything that doesn’t remotely touch advertising.
In episode one, INNOCEAN ECD, Jason Sperling was judged by Adweek editor Kyle O’Brien—and did not disappoint.
The questions Jason answered:
- Round 1: What song are you embarrassed to admit you love?
- Round 2: What’s the most underrated trait of a creative in advertising?
- Round 3: What’s the work thing you’re most proud of?
Of course, the answers from Jason were outstanding, but one moment stood out: A bonus opportunity to sing a verse from the first round question.
There’s nothing more to say other than, “you have to see it to believe it.”
In the end, Jason set the bar for points in Random Q, and the season one winner goes on to the championship round in December.
