In our latest episode of Liar, Liar?, contestant and Cactus’ Partner and Chief Creative Officer, Norm Sherer worked hard to stump guest judge and Portland State University’s Advertising Program Area Director, Marc Moran.
As always, contestants get three chances–one per round–to tell a story that is either completely true or completely false with the aim of fooling our judge. If the judge guesses incorrectly, the contestant wins the allotted points. If the judge guesses correctly, the contestant is denied points for the story but has an opportunity to win points based on their delivery style.
Did Marc’s sharply-honed BS-ometer–forged by years of working with college students–get the better of Norm, or was Norm able to outwit the professor?
Norm’s stories were good…but were they too good…or not good enough? Can you spot the prop? Is it safe to say the 2023 NBA Champion Denver Nuggets are a far more superior team than their ‘87 short shorts-wearing predecessor?
In addition to the fun and games (because Fun + Games Friday, duh!), tune in to get schooled on PSU’s stellar ad program curriculum and find out what sticky business Cactus is up to. (Hint: they’re hiring!)
Watch this episode to learn more about our contestant and judge, and find out which story is true and which is a lie:
- Round 1: Dad’s a pro bowler?
- Round 2: Dancing with a fainting Kevin Costner?
- Round 3: Mom helped develop a lifesaving vaccine?
