How well did Pri trick Jed? Here’s how the game unfolded:

Round 1: The Hidden Pie

Priyanka’s Claim: Priyanka, whose last name is “Pai” (pronounced like the dessert), claimed that she sneaks Easter eggs into her work, hiding images or stickers of pie in the background of her ad campaigns. She mentioned adding a pie sticker on a Curology ad shoot in the background of a bathroom set.

Jed’s Key Questions:

  • Jed asked if clients ever noticed these Easter eggs. Priyanka admitted that one client did, but it wasn’t a big issue since the pie wasn’t clearly visible.
  • Jed also asked if Priyanka had ever used real pie or different types of pies in her work, to which she responded that it’s typically just a sticker or a drawing.

Verdict: Jed guessed it was true.

Reality: Priyanka was bluffing. Although her last name is indeed “Pai,” she had never hidden pies in her work.

Score: Priyanka stumped Jed and earned five points, plus 4.6 style points for her creativity in storytelling.

Round 2: Donald Glover and Ice Cream

Priyanka’s Claim: While living in Atlanta, Priyanka claimed she ran into Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) when he was shooting the first season of Atlanta in her apartment complex. The two struck up a brief conversation about ice cream and the best strip clubs in the city. Priyanka claimed her favorite flavor is Cherry Garcia, which prompted Glover to laugh.

Jed’s Key Questions:

  •   Jed asked Priyanka’s favorite ice cream flavor and how Donald Glover responded. She stuck to her Cherry Garcia story.
  •   Jed inquired about Glover’s height and how their conversation played out, to which Priyanka smoothly provided answers about the casual exchange.

Verdict: Jed believed this one was true, thinking the details were too good to be made up.

Reality: Once again, Priyanka was lying. Although Atlanta was filmed in her neighborhood, she never bumped into Donald Glover.

Score: Priyanka earned another five points for fooling Jed, plus 4.8 style points for the convincing details.

Round 3: The Wing Heist

Priyanka’s Claim: Priyanka shared a story about visiting a bar in Atlanta, where a drunk man stole one of her six chicken wings right off her plate. This led to an altercation, and the bar’s bouncer had to throw the man out of the bar while he still held the stolen wing.

Jed’s Key Questions:

  •   Jed asked what type of wings Priyanka had been eating. She responded with lemon pepper.
  •   He also asked what the drunk man looked like and whether she or her friend felt scared during the incident. Priyanka maintained they were just annoyed, not frightened.
  •   Jed pressed for the name of the bar, which Priyanka said was called “Little Trouble” on the east side of Atlanta.

Verdict: Jed guessed it was a lie, feeling that the story sounded too over-the-top.

Reality: Priyanka was telling the truth this time. The absurd story of the stolen chicken wing was, in fact, real.

Score: Priyanka earned another five points, plus five style points for the hilarious and bizarre nature of the story.

Final Score:

Priyanka finished the game with an impressive 32.4 points, taking the lead in the season standings and setting a new Liar, Liar? record. Despite Jed’s excellent questioning, Priyanka’s ability to weave truth and fiction left him stumped three times in a row.
