Ad Age has revealed its 2025 Small Agency Awards winners, highlighting independent firms that combine standout client work with healthy business practices and inclusive teams. The awards, announced at the Small Agency Conference in Toronto on July 22–23, recognized standout agencies across multiple categories—from Campaign of the Year to Executive and Creative of the Year.

Indie Agency News members dominated the awards, with WorkInProgress taking Small Agency of the Year Gold and Preacher winning 76-150 Employees Gold, among many others.

Winners repeatedly emphasized that small agencies have the freedom to take creative risks, move faster, and do work that larger shops might shy away from. In all, this year’s winners paint a clear picture: small, nimble agencies are not only delivering top-tier creative work but also building vibrant internal cultures and gaining respect on the big-agency stage.

Congratulations to the Ad Age team for another outstanding Small Agency Conference & Awards, and to all the winners who continue to prove that independent agencies are where the best work happens.
