Indie Agency Sister Cities For Q1 2025

Bringing new independent agency markets together

Last year, we kicked off our Indie Agency Sister Cities program. Back then, we didn’t have quite as many markets as today. For all of you data nerds, we’re in over 50 US cities, four Canadian markets, nine in the UK and Europe and two in Australia.

What we learned was that bringing Indie Agency News members together in a casual, chill way was not only productive but a helluva lot of fun. New, long-lasting friendships were made, and each got to learn about the success and struggles of being indie.

We’re back in 2025 and will rotate our market pairings each quarter—and bring new ones on as our membership grows. One quick note: We have combined some markets (and given them names) since we grew pretty fast on that front.

We look forward to learning more about how our members connect in Q1. And, members, we’ll be in touch with all of you soon to get connected!

How it works

  • Below, you’ll see the market pairings (some have more than two markets due to geography).
  • We’ll start connecting people this/next week.
  • There are no rules; the only goal is for Indie Agency News members to connect and learn about each other’s work and what makes their markets unique.
  • We ask that all markets connect at least four times when they are together.
  • The markets are paired until the end of August, and then we’ll rotate them every two months starting in September.

Like most things Indie Agency News, the goal is to have fun and bring this community closer together.

We’ll keep track of things and share what people have learned about each other.
