When it comes to agency names, Foul Mouth Creative certainly stands out. What also stands out are the people who kicked this thing off not too long ago.

Jordan Huys and Rachel Carlson have big agency chops and experience—with scads of effective and award-winning work for big ‘ol brands. We’re talking stuff for Alaska Airlines, Adobe, Amazon, Kraft Heinz, Netflix, Old Navy, Target and more.

Based in Seattle, Huys and Carlson inject their accessible and, frankly, refreshing point of view about creativity and how it can be a force for growth and good. Current clients include Frida, Shopify, Old Elk Distillery and a few coming-soon startups.

And the flock keeps growing with the addition of Tessa Paneri as co-Founder and Creative Director of art and design. Paneri built the agency’s design and was director of that practice, most recently at Mekanism and creative director at World Famous.

Big work under her belt? Yep. Carlson and Paneri have been creative partners since 2020, creating work such as GameStop’s “There’s a Place for Us” campaign and Frida Baby’s “Real Reviews.”

“We are pumped to finally announce Tessa as one of the flock. Her eye for design, extensive video and production experience, incredible work ethic, and weird-ass personality is the third block to Foul Mouth Creative. The three of us have that magic sauce together: chemistry, passion, deep love and respect for one another, and an undying refusal to accept the status quo,” says Huys.

Marketer shout outs

  • Kyle Schlegel, Vice President, Americas Marketing & DTC, Weber Inc.
  • Julia Reardon, Vice President, Brand Marketing, Culligan International
  • Candice DiScuillo, Senior Director of Performance Marketing, Boats Group (former GameStop marketer)

“Candace embodies the “let’s put trust in each other and see what we can get away with” [vibe]. We made some work that I still can’t believe made it out into the world, especially for a company like GameStop. It was strategic and super-backed [by her], and it outperformed every campaign that they’ve done, which is amazing. Candace was amazing. She took some risks and put her neck out for the creative internally. That’s a partner that’s worth its weight in gold.”
