One of the hallmarks of great work is if it stops you in your tracks, even if it’s for a second. That happens when Indie Agency News member Odd Notion gets ahold of a project.
Their award-winning Serve LA campaign is beautiful, brilliant and incredibly meaningful. Their past work for Lyft is equally impactful.
But Eleazar Ruiz and company are far from finished and hella busy. Odd Notion just shared two case studies—and launched a new show!
First, the work.
- Client: Sesh
- Brief: Hone the branding and connect the brand’s visual vocabulary
- Result: A dope rebrand that resulted in more customers and potential partners
- Client: La Sombra
- Brief: Build a local Oklahoma Airbnb into a global lifestyle brand, offering unique vacation experiences.
- Result: A full rebrand with a connected identity system that elevates the product
Sunny Brands: A New Show Breathing Life Into Social Impact
Odd Notion is all about doing good, and the shop launched a great show, Sunny Brands. We love the focus on highlighting “the people behind businesses and organizations dedicated to enriching people’s lives.”
The first episode is a heater with Jelani Memory, A Kids Co. founder and CEO (recently appointed VP and publisher at DK).

Episode two features Camille E. Trummer, founder of social impact consultancy Interplay.

Both are windows into the Pacific Northwest and the region’s ethos of doing great work for good.
