There is no real need to rewind the tape on disinformation’s damage to democracy. Yet, brands and agencies (sometimes unwittingly) help fund media that supports tearing down critical institutions and processes.

Claire Atkin and Nandini Jammi founded Check My Ads, the adtech watchdog, to hold brand advertisers accountable and provide essential roadmaps for preventing nefarious media funding. There’s plenty of blame to go around—and Atkin and Jammi joined Alexander Rea of indie agency AUX and PP&P consultancy founder Tim Polder to discuss a wide range of issues related to adtech and brand safety.
