A large cruise ship on calm blue water under a partly cloudy sky, with a GUT Fare Thee Well logo from Indie Agency News in the bottom right corner.
Good luck on the next chapter.

Welp, these moments are inevitable. A great indie decides it’s time to sell/get acquired/take an investment. There’s a history of this happening but, for many, it stings a little. But does it, really? The fact is simple: any business, no matter the industry, endeavors to grow. It’s no different for an indie agency.

But emotions can run high. Such is the case with GUT, who recently sold a majority stake to Globant. The natural reaction? Aw, that’s too bad, we loved having GUT as an indie.

As much as we will miss GUT’s indie status, we took a moment to celebrate the past five years of hard work that led to this moment. Fare thee well, GUT—and good luck in the next stage of chapter of your story.
