WorkInProgress Keeps Building Boost Mobile’s Quirky Universe

The campaign that keeps on giving ... us delightfully weird

WorkInProgress continues to build out Boost Mobile’s workplace universe with two new spots that manage to make rate plans actually watchable.

Part of the ongoing “We Built A Network” campaign, “Jingle” and “Almost Dead” take us back inside Boost Mobile HQ, where the team is clearly having too much fun for a telecom company.

Musical Ambitions Meet iPhone Deals

In “Jingle,” they’re celebrating the best monthly price on the iPhone 16E when one employee decides to share his musical creation. It’s earnestly bad in the best way possible—the kind of jingle that gets stuck in your head precisely because it shouldn’t. But hey, at least everyone knows about that iPhone deal now.

Forever Means Different Things to Different People

“Almost Dead” plays with Boost’s $25 forever pricing in an unexpectedly charming way. When they announce the price is locked forever, Jeff—the office’s most senior employee—realizes this might work out particularly well for him. The spot mines gentle humor from the generational gap without being mean-spirited.

Why This World Works

What works here is the consistency. WorkInProgress has created a little world where Boost employees are just regular people excited about genuinely good deals. No hard sell, no tech jargon—just characters we recognize from our own offices, making telecom human.

The product details (iPhone 16E’s photo features, that forever pricing) slip in naturally because they’re part of the conversation, not the whole conversation. It’s a smart approach that keeps building on itself with each new spot.
