Indie Work Weekly: High Fives to the Ad Club Winners!

Plus, a spin around some excellent member stuff!

Hey everyone! We’re switching things up a little this week with Indie Work Weekly—bringing you the latest and greatest from our indie agency community. We thank Gern Blanston, Gern the Intern, for the video edits. And we start with a three-pack of member wins!

Fire Kite Lights Up Nashville

Let’s start with a round of applause for Fire Kite in Nashville, which absolutely crushed it at the Nashville Addys—racking up 10 trophies, including four golds, Best Broadcast, and Best in Show. Not too shabby, right? And get this—founder Alex Goulart apparently manifested this win. Someone’s been watching The Secret!

Doe-Anderson Brings the Louisville Heat

Next up, big congrats to Doe-Anderson, snagging 13 awards at the Louisville Addys. Highlights? Gold wins for Roto-Rooter and Maker’s Mark (because, let’s be honest, anything involving bourbon is bound to be awesome).

Rochester’s Best in Show

Shoutout to Partners + Napier, who took home Best in Show in Rochester for their work on Our Stories of Strength. That team has been crushing it for years, and it’s always great to see them getting the recognition they deserve.

Domino’s Finally Joins the Stuffed Crust Club

Did you know Domino’s never had a stuffed crust pizza? Yeah, neither did 73% of people. But now they do! The new campaign from Work In Progress is all about that hilarious misunderstanding, and honestly, it just makes us want pizza at 9:30 AM.

Hiscox’s Broadway Moment

Insurance ads can be meh, but Terri & Sandy made it fun with their Broadway-inspired campaign for Hiscox. Small business owners, this one’s for you! Think catchy tunes, puppetry, and a whole lot of hustle.

Empress Gin and the Power of Purple

Empress 1908 is making a splash, literally, thanks to Erich & Kallman. Their sleek, minimalist ad (which debuted during the Oscars!) makes you want to order one immediately. Simple. Classy. Effective.

Scott’s Lawn Care: The Yard Goat Era

Did you know Scott’s stands for O.M. Scott & Sons? Now you do! Their latest campaign, created by D/CAL, is all about embracing your inner yard goat. (And yes, we now desperately want a lush, green lawn—even if we don’t have one.)

Good AI Usage in Healthcare Marketing? It Comes from Klick

Our friends at Klick Health just launched HCP AI Focus Groups, an AI-powered tool that simulates thousands of healthcare professionals. Less time, less money, and more insights. If you’re on the AI fence, check them out—they’re doing some really smart things.

A Shoutout to Pitch Black

We couldn’t wrap this up without giving props to Pitch Black, a Portland-based platform elevating Black founders nationwide. Their new identity, crafted by Odd Notion, is stunning. But more importantly, the work they’re doing is making a real impact.

And there’s plenty more outside of what we chatted about.

The boss is a Philly fan, but he’ll let this one go. Mother x Amica x Jayson Tatum.

It’s in the agency’s name, Clever Creative. Check out this new identity for Aprés University.

From the files of: I Know I’ve Seen This Guy Somewhere, comes fab character actor Jim Murtaugh doing it up for Oink Ink Creative Audio.

Reason #4,509,398 that we love Blurr Bureau.

MOCEAN with some lovely stuff for PlayStation.

And outside the membership comes some work from Guesthouse for Citizens Trust Bank.
